For two decades, during the israeli occupation of Lebanon, Israel has been pumping water from lebanese rivers into israel. Not surprisingly, israeli trucks also had been seen carrying Lebanese fertile soil into israeli territories in order to use it for agricultural purposes. As for Wazzani, it's lebanon's right to at least 50% of the water since it springs out from lebanon into a foreign land. However, since the wazzani water serves israelis as well as jordanians and palestinians, why doesn't Jordan seem as much worried as israel? probably the project after all is not a real threat to the future of water in the middle east and that israel is making a big deal out it.
