logical fallacySunday 14 Apr 2002

Not to overstate the obvious, but this is free info to your benefit, which can be obtained from any basic book about logic. To say that my friend (especially one that is not impartial) said this or that is simply false by definition. You cannot base any argument on what a friend told you. What if I were to tell you that 10 people have told me the opposite of whatever you stated? For one thing, about half the people living in the Jenin camp are children under 18, and I would expect half the rest are women (who knows how many elderly). No, unfortunately the murdered "terrorists," that the Israeli government has created with its brutal behavior in the past half century, are but a small percentage in this recent massacre, so reminiscent of the one Sharon ordered in sabra and shateela; I only faintly hope this not to be as large in scale. I'm still trying to grasp how this belligerent, barbaric lunatic is, out doing what he is facing criminal charges for in Belgium--as opposed to being in a hospital, where insane people who are hazardous to society (often leaders in today's counter-intelligent world) should be. Before this, I was trying to come to grips with how he became Prime Minister of a FREELY VOTING country--as opposed to Syria, for example, where deranged criminals often are elected by 99% of their citizens--with a national unity government; the last fact meaning that he has far greater decision power than in a normal government. Now I appreciate absurdity, but this might be a bit too much and too real for me.
