As the madness of the folly and military mind-set of the Israeli governing elite, the Knesset majority and Sharon, continues a Rogue State policy clearly, albeit briefly, explained, by Tanya Reinhart, one critical language for this discourse is English.
A critical need is for the USA, the European Union, and the UN to wake up to the reality of Israeli policy, continued now on the same course for five decades, while they repeat dissembling rhetoric and myths of history, as justification in pursuit of their Zionist dream to take all the lands of the British Mandate of Palestine (and Jordan as well in due course) for an exclusive Jewish State, by force of arms, with elimination by dispossession of the indigenous Palestinian people.
The USA, Britain, and the countries of the European Union thru the UN have been complicit by action and or in-action, in alloing this crisis to develop - and now should recognize a critical role they must undertake, together with the neighboring Arab States, if these on-going crimes against humanity are to be overcome.
There is a pragmatic, viable "end game" to the current madness, however, I believe strong inititives by the USA and an international team of military, economic, social and political skills - on the Green Line and throughout the Territories is now necessary, with a comprehensive overall plan on the table to resolve all (repeat all) issues essential for creation of a viable, independent, sovereign Palestinian State, an International City of Jerusalem, and justice for the Palestinian refugees, all in the spirit of the UN Partition Plan and Res 242, and accomodation in a pragmatic mode for "the right of return". The "plan" must include follow through to assure friendly collaboration betwween the Israeli, and Palestinian people, and with the Arab States if justice, peace and security is the goal!
I would expect the Israeli people and Palestinian people understand the realities presented above, but desparetely need, outside help, and likely new coalitions of inspired leadership to overcome the rage, guilt, fear, and tragic history of confrontation.
