Day of Solidarity with Qalqilia by Qalqilia 7:40pm Tue Dec 24 '02 What: "A Day of Solidarity" When: Sunday December 29th Where: Qalqilia District print article On behalf of the National, Local and Land Defense Communities in Qalqiliah District, we would like to invite you to share "A Day of Solidarity" with local people and farmers, who are suffering the construction of the Apartheid Wall. You are invited to come on Sunday, December 29, 2002 to Habla or Khirbet Jabara at 9:00AM, where the program will start, or to Jayyous at 12:00PM. ***************************** Program Activities Those invited include local people, internationals and press, who will be divided into two groups. The first group will start marching in Khirbet Jabara (North of Qalqiliah District), and the second group in Habla, at one time 9:00AM (South of Qalqiliah District). The marching will move toward Jayyous, and the expected arrival time is at 12:00PM. The first group includes the villages of Khirbet Jabara, A-Ras, Kufr Sur, Kufr Jammal, Falamya and Jayyous. The second group includes the villages include Habla, Ras Atiya, Ras Tira, Kufr Thulth, Azzoun, Isla, and Jayyous. All people will meet in Jayyous, and from there will start a Solidarity Rally, the focus of which will be on the legal status and the facts surrounding the construction of the apartheid wall. ****************************** Invited People Those invited include: Palestinian Ministries, Palestinian and Israeli Non-Governmental Organizations, members of the Palestinian Legislative Council, members of the Israeli Parliament, members of the International Solidarity Movement, representatives of the local and international media, and representatives of Israeli and Palestinian legal organizations.
