דיווח מההפגנה במחסום א-רם , 3.4.02 by dana bar 10:51pm Wed Apr 3 '02 [email protected] when i got home i just felt like i needed to write down what went on over there from my point of view... print article the demo today... wow... it was unbelievable.. at first we were just walking around with our signs and shit and then they asked all the women to go to the front so me alma and Noa (being quite scared with shit being shoot around us) and we stood there, eye to eye with the soldiers with our hands up like in that Holocaust picture and one of those soldiers , I guess he must have been what? 19, 20.. looked at me and smiled... he actually smiled in this- I-don't-care-about-you but-at-least-theres-some-action.. it was so scary, a person with no feelings a person that has been brain washed so much... Then the organizers told us that the police and the army won't let the trucks with the food and first aid supplies in so we ran to help unload and carry it by hand into the village so we ran back with the stuff in our hands and all of a sudden the gas-bombing began again, we first thought it was far and kept talking and walking into the mess suddenly one of the gas bombs lands never me and Noa and we start running like crazy and all this time the stuff get nearer to us, Fuck I was never so scared! I felt like I was in war... shit... I was in war.. I feel so sad for those people, I'm back here in my nice house with my computer and room all to my self and out there people are dying... I can't even get it. ~*~thoughts~*~ I had a bit of a hard time protesting there... I think the Israeli left is much of a problem to us, the "radical left"- as much as I oppose that definition..I don't think I'm right winged o-r left winged but lets leave that name as it is. to me as a person I felt the Israeli left was and is a problem a problem... it felt not appropriate to be walking behind out sigh- "occupation is terrorism" , and that I belive in . I DON'T belive in the Palestinian flag and I don't want to walk with people screaming things I don't understand with the word "said" in it... but MY reason for being there was compleat, in the end all 3 trucks got in. and that's what matters... I just hope these people in the protest come to an understanding that they cant be so anti-Israeli and so pro-Palestinian, in anti all terror no matter where it comes from and they should be too... ~*~PS~*~ it turned out that the gas that was shoot when we were bringing the food was shoot because some guy was wearing a Palestinian flag and wouldn't take it off so a cop started to bet him up so the guy's friend came and the whole thing became a huge fight... add your comments
